Spending Budget in College
During this project we had to design a project that would benefit us in our future years as well as use some of the mathematical skills we learned during this year. Because my college years are creeping around the corner, I decided I would design a spending plan for myself at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I didn't calculate my freshmen year because most expenses will be covered by my parents. For my sophomore, junior and senior year I will need to pay my rent, buy my food and possibly have other expenses. I designed a plan that set aside money from my job for each of those things. I'm hoping that by the end of my college years I will have a certain amount of money left in my savings. My ultimate goal of my budget plan is to have enough money to buy a one way ticket and get started somewhere in the world.
After calculating the money that I will be earning and the money my parents will loan me I figured out I will need to take out a $26,000 loan. To pay this back in five years, I used this equation.

How to Pay for College
In this day and age, it is incredibly important to get a college education. Not just to open doors for yourself as a young learner and a person, but to move on and find a career that you enjoy. It is also important to think about how much college will cost you and how you are going to pay it back. During this project in pre-calculous, I studied the college that I was interested in going to and figured out a plan to pay it back. To learn about how I will pay back my college or to learn how to set up how YOU will pay back your college, take a look at my graphs.
